PLEDGE MOMENT 9 AUG 09 @ 8:22 PM

It was a patriotic moment for all shoppers @ Tiong Bahru Plaza, Hougang Mall, Liang Court and Tampines 1 on 9 Aug @ exactly 8.22pm.

Shoppers at our malls paused and took 30 seconds to join all Singaporeans for the “PLEDGE MOMENT” - a historic moment when all Singaporeans came together to say the pledge in one voice.

Some recited the Pledge, with hands on chests, while others took the pledge silently. It is without a doubt that many of us Singaporeans took the opportunity to reflect on the deep meaning behind the Pledge and to reaffirm our commitment to the nation. It was truly a meaningful way to commemorate our nation’s 44th birthday.
